Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor Resort

I don't want the public to see this but when you pay a lot of money for your room you would expect to walk in to a clean room and not one that's bed is messy with pillows without cases on half the pillows and a pair of wet woman's underwear in the closet that remained there for the two days and nights we spent in the room. Location and staff great but the room was slightly underwhelming.

My experience was not great, as the shower had someone hair in it, the room was so humid and uncomfortable, and the bed covers were stained with god knows what. I will not only never return but will tell my friends and family to never stay there. Gross.

Convenient location for our family to be closer to our son who lives there.

It was older and unkempt. Walkways were not clean, looked like they had not been pressure cleaned in a long time. And in the rooms, the carpet was visibly filthy. Our children’s feet were black coming from a tub shower with clean feet - just into the room. Repeated efforts to obtain housekeeping services were not honored. We would have to physically go down to the front desk and ask 2 or 3 times. Very variable responses.

One thing I would change is give customers a free breakfast. $20 bucks a person is outrageous. And give customers coffee CREAMER why only milk and oatmilk?? And for God's sake put in your own laundry machines for customers to use so they don't have to walk forever to the hotel next store to do their laundry. Come on now!

The staff were very kind and helpful and brought us extra towels quickly when we needed them. However the downsides were the loud and dingy AC unit that made odd noises all night and the general cleanliness of the room, maybe it was just a little old and too lived in for us…
