Four Points by Sheraton San Diego

The bathroom was dirty. Drains were clogged. Dental floss picks on window sill in room. On the carpet was a wet spill with unpleasant odor (Vomit?). We left a message at the front desk and were told a manager would call us. So far, no call.

Had a great stay at the four points Sheraton in SD. MarlaJane checked us in and her customer service is outstanding. She was extremely kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. She even went out of her way to write down a list of restaurants and spot recommendations near the area. She absolutely made our stay 10/10!

I have generally had positive experiences with Marriott hotels, but my recent visit was quite disappointing. As a Titanium Elite member and a lifetime Gold member, I had higher expectations. Upon waking up and preparing for breakfast, I was informed that my included breakfast was limited to a continental option, which was unexpected. As a vegetarian, I would not have chosen the other items available, but the limitation felt frustrating, and more insulting - especially as I have not encountered such restrictions at other Marriott locations. Additionally, I found the staff's demeanor to be less than friendly. I did not receive my invoice via email, and when I reached out for assistance, I experienced long hold times and a lack of courtesy from the operator. Unfortunately, the warmth and hospitality I typically associate with Marriott were missing during this stay. Given my experience, I would advise potential guests to consider their options carefully before booking at this location. I hope my feedback can contribute to improvements in service moving forward.

Just okay

This was one of the better hotels we have stayed at in a while.

Loved the last minute stay and deal. This is another diamond in the rough. Staff holding down front desk was amazing, I wish I got his name. Tall and curly hair!

Upscale hotel without the upscale price. Reminded me of the Embassy Suites in La Jolla but better in every way for half the price. It is ridiculously close to convoy where all the good food is, but hidden on an empty side street so it's quiet and away from the traffic. Freeway is just a right turn away but, again, the hotel is isolated so no freeway noise. Perfect location. Plenty of parking, rooms are clean, staff is nice, and TV has Netflix. I will always stay here when I'm in San Diego.

Parking lot was a tad weird, but it was fine as it was covered in the price. That is good value. I have a large truck so I needed to park where there is a lot of space and thankfully there was. The bed was standard comfort. Nothing special, but got good enough sleep. The room was perfect with a large desk space to plug in and work on the laptop for a few hours. I wasnt expecting that, and it came in handy at the perfect hour. The bartender in the lobby bar was also very nice, friendly, and made a good cocktail

The smell. Either someone was lighting up the reefer nearby or the carpets are stale. Maybe both....... I didn't like how Booking.com switched around the names for the room. It asked if someone else would be attending, but for some reason, it put her name as the guest and me as the friend.........not sure how or why......since I paid, it should be my name on there as primary, but either way, once we figured out the issue at check-in, all was resolved.

Great amenities, good food at bar and restaurant.

This is an overpriced outdated hotel. Do not stay here.
