Aqua - Pópulo Eco Village

Last-minute booking so I was not expecting much However, I was pleasantly surprised It is a mini apartment so you have a couch, small kitchen, bathroom. Small balcony overlooking a courtyard with a view of the road since it was on the ground level. Lots of space. Only complaints would be no blackout curtains so not much privacy at night and the bathroom would flood if you take a shower. Otherwise, it was a three minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the supermarket. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious. It was quiet and perfectly suited for my needs and I would strongly recommend if you want a quiet, secluded hotel in a residential area. Would need a car if you want to go into the city

Beautiful apartments next to the beach. Great fitness center and pool/jacuzzi . Could not expect better location to all our island journeys. End of the day lovely in the pool and early morning fitness plus pool was a great success :)

Unfortunately even if the apartment looks very clean we saw 3 massive cockroach’s . It is a bit disturbing. Hotel staff very apologetic and real felt they are on top of it but did not change the fact.

Quite a lot to like about this place. 1) Staff was super helpful in person and online during our stay. Friendly and very responsive to questions/requests. 2) Great space and facility. Two bedrooms + living area gave the four of us enough room. Rooftop pool and hot tub was nice at the end of the day. 3) Breakfast was great! A basket is dropped at your apartment every day with food and drink options. 4) Loved the location. Couple minute walk to the beach. A few minute drive to a grocery store. Close to Ponta Delgado. Centrally located so nothing on the island is way out of the way.

Great location, rooms very functional. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional.

We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a mezzanine, offering plenty of room and comfort. While the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, a breakfast basket is conveniently delivered to your door each morning. The fitness center is well equipped, and although the rooftop pool is on the smaller side, it is heated and enjoyable.

The jacuzzi, however, could use some maintenance, as most of the jets were not working.

The staff was very accommodating and the property was lovely. Breakfast was absolutely a delightful surprise. They accommodated requests and were punctual. It was one of the highlights. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely. The infinity pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The gym facility means were average to slightly above average.

The picture currently shown is not the room that we actually had. The view was very different. Toiletries in the shower or lacking. Conditioner would have been a very nice option.

Pleasant stay! Very nice apartment located in a strategic position to visit the whole island. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is excellent.
