Comfortable room food delicious pool area very busy on the afternoon not enough beds/chairs,had to ask for water to be filled up very hot door was locked around pool area, stayed a few times here,I would still come again just putting my input in there.Thanks again

"Ok stay"

Comfy beds, not a very relaxing spa area so pleased we hadn't come for a spa day! Especially the spa cafe, loud music instead of spa music and just overall a little noisier than you want if you have come for a spa day. Breakfast wasn't great, beans were not filled up the whole time and waited but couldn't get anyones attention to ask for more, coffee absolutely foul too. The tables are also so close together that I had someone's butt in my face when trying to eat as he had come over to another table to speak to friends. Jacuzzi bath was lovely, the grounds are really pretty and there is a lot to do. Although I'm not in a hurry to come back I do think my kids would love it. Overall it's about what I expected for the price, could definitely do with a refurb in some areas

This is the second stay at this hotel, lovely friendly efficient staff and nice spacious rooms. Very nice restaurant and public areas. Well placed to explore the area.

"Good"

Like - swimming pool, massage service. Didn't like - two of the breakfast staff. The big woman and the small skinny man, their attitude were terrible. They should be sent on a customer service training course. Shame

A beautiful old building, full of history yet offering a surprising amount of facilities. Lovely pool area, stunning grounds, great breakfast. Really great value for money and I would definitely stay again.

"Abbie on reception was BRILLIANT"

We arrived tired after travelling most of the day but found that we had made an error on the booking. Abbie on reception took it upon herself to sort out the error and advised us to relax in the bar while she sorted it out. We cannot thank her enough for her help and kindness which really made our stay so very special. THANK YOU Abbie.

"Not impressed "

Wi-Fi was non existent. Breakfast was a joke. The shower room water was pooling in the floor, no soap in the shower room
