Hotel Lion d'Or

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof, in unserem Zimmer war es aber angenehm ruhig. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir in einer benachbarten Garage sicher unterstellen.

Excellent location for both Haarlem and visiting Amsterdam. It's only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Haarlem and a fifteen minute train ride into Amsterdam central station. It overlooks a square that has both the train station and the central bus station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot, although not located immediately adjacent to the hotel, was only a very short block away, and still convenient. The building was in good repair and the room was very nice.

The fridge was rather small and the size of a file drawer.

Super clean and nice decor. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent location with quick access to train. Secure bike storage and bike shop next door. Haarlem is a great choice to stay outside of Amsterdam. Plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby.

Excellent location close to the train station. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and our room was very comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train and bus station, and a short walk through charming streets from the center of the city. Our room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast had excellent selections and the dining room is large and spacious. The Lion D'Or was ideal for our one-night stay before departing on the ferry in nearby Ijmuiden to Newcastle, UK. Haarlem is almost like a relaxed version of Amsterdam.
