Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Beekbergen-Apeldoorn

we waren voor de 6e keer bij Fletcher in Beekbergen. De kamer was deze keer erg klein. Bovendien kwam er na 10 min. koude kraan open nog steeds lauw/warm water uit de koude kraan. Ook het ontbijt was niet meer wat het vroeger was.

Very comfortable and interesting overnight stay, with a surprisingly good restaurant and a secluded woodland environment, with many jays and other interesting birds. Most impressed with the restored 1920s stained glass, iconic art deco windows in the conference hall, depicting trade union socialist images of inspiration and motivation, for which this holiday complex was originally created.

Even lekker op adem komen en prima voor familie-bezoek in de buurt.

Excellent. I took one of the rooms with terrace (10€ extra), these are a little old, but clean, warm and extremely quiet, the terrace is a real bonus for smokers. Internet is OK good signal everywhere, but slow (2mb/250kb). Food is a little pricey, but the quantity is outstanding. Only 2 minutes from the highway, so excellent access., plenty of parking in secured compound. I will return again if I am in the area.

Saving on heating at all costs results in guest entering the room which is freezing cold. A huge disappointment...

Prima ontbijt, goed personeel. Vloerbedekking versleten en oud, zowel op de trappen en in het restaurant.

ik vind dat het moet nieuw worden renovatie.. het is niet zo leuk ik vind hem best wel saai maar nog 1 ding het wc was niet 100% schoon en de kamer ook er licht nog dingen onder de bed ( ik zie onder deel je reisfoto's ) maar het was zo saai daar dat ik niet eens rond wil lopen en foto maken heelaas (((ik vind zonder van mijn geld)))

The hotel grounds are a little shabby, but the reception looked nice and clean. Unfortunately, that’s all I managed to see. Despite notifying the hotel that my flight had been delayed and I was running late, they had cancelled my room as they don’t check emails after 6 o’clock. The staff were obviously aware of what had happened, but all found urgent tasks to do rather than speak to me. Eventually deigning to acknowledge my presence, they pretended not to understand and I was left even longer to wait for a manager. Turns out it was my fault they hadn’t read the email. Also that the room had been given to someone else and there were no more vacancies. I was then expected to just quietly disappear. Pushing the point that I needed somewhere to stay, I was informed that nowhere in Arnhem had vacancies as it was a busy time. A protracted discussion led to the manager checking bookings and within two minutes she found a room in a sister hotel in the next town. The staff must have known about the issue before I arrived and could have prepared something, or even tried to be a little bit helpful, but I was forced to argue at reception before they would give me a basic level of service. I would have expected better from a hotel of this calibre.

Is het van gebouw tot en met personeel gewoon net niet. Voelt als derde rangs. Als je er gaat eten of drinken bonnetjes goed aftekenen zodat je niet de drankjes of eten van een ander betaald. Voor mij geen hotel van fletcher meer.

Alleen voor 1 nacht slapen, verder wil ik er niet zijn.
