OYO Hotel Cleveland, TN

Very nice

Room was very big and spacious

We asked for a chair and toylet paper to be brought. Neither was brought so I went to get the paper.

The room was supposed to be done at 3:00 pm they didn’t have it finished until 11:00 pm that night. We were hoping to get to rest and clean up before the event we went to, but didn’t get to. They were bed bugs and so, we ended up having to ask if we could move and he said we couldn’t move and accused us of bringing the bed bugs in. He went and got the bed we were sleeping in out of storage and it was an old nasty bed. My mom got ate up so bad by bed bugs before we knew they were in the bed that she had to go to the doctor and get meds. We had ask for a refund and our deposit back he cussed us and yelled at us and accused us of destroying his room, so we had to get the cops to come over and the cops said that they have has several bad experiences with this motel too and they helped us get our deposit back, but we haven’t got our money back on the room yet and didn’t even get to use the motel we had to leave at 1:30 in the morning because of the bugs. This motel should not even be open I am calling the health inspector to as the cops recommended us to do and reporting the motel. It’s nasty, they are rude and do be cussed and yelled at by the owner is just a bunch of bull. I would not recommend this motel to anyone as I said it should be closed down.

Room stank like cigarettes, holes in sheets and blankets, roaches crawling on the drapes, barking dogs in other rooms, checkin through a walk up window, non-working outlets, holes in the walls, flickering bulbs. They have a sign saying weekly and monthly rent needs to be paid in full. This is not a good hotel for travellers passing through.

The check in process was torture - they do everything manual and it takes 20+ minutes. No smoking room, yeah right. Cig smoke throughout the room and smoke burns on the flimsy bed coverings. TV didn't work. Would honestly have been better sleeping in my car.

Call it the OHNO hotel. First—the place doesn’t say Oyo. It says Lincoln hotel. Stressful AF driving around at 11pm trying to find the right hotel. Second, the owner *just pulled in* as I was pulling up to ask where Oyo Hotel was. She was in PJs and toting dominoes. The lobby REEKED of smoke. She had us sign some paper about renting and no visitors after 10pm. She teased “time to sign your life away” excuse me?? Next, our *non smoking room* REEKED of smoke. I went to the lobby complain. Lady legit says she “understands” having asthma and then hands me a mostly empty can of effing Lysol! What you think Lysol gonna do?? There was only one bath towel and it was soiled with someone’s snot. I drove to f’ing walgreens at 12:30 in the morning to buy wash rags, bath towels, toilet paper (one mostly used roll) and a can of actual air cleanser to get out the smell. The comforters had cigarette burn holes. No matter how much I sprayed the smell wouldn’t go away. It felt like someone was pumping cigarette smoke. DO NOT STAY HERE. All the friendliness in the world will not make this place worth it.

This property should be condemned. We were driving north to Canada, arrived late, exhausted, and needed a good sleep. This area, this property, and our room should be overhauled. We felt unsafe. I would never had stayed there by myself. There were no towels, no toilet paper and no remote for the tv. By far, the worst place we have ever stayed. DO NOT GO HERE.

Property not that great but the managers are very nice people.
