Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my stay at Fletcher Hotel. Booking number / reservation reference: [Booking.com reservation number if available] Hotel booking number: FH118-RSV-00024825 Room number: 001 – Suite We booked this stay because our home is under renovation and we needed a clean, comfortable place to stay where we could rest and shower properly. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely poor. During our stay, the heating in the suite did not work and the room was later affected by water leakage/flooding. It took approximately two days before this was resolved, during which we could not properly shower. The coffee machine in the room also remained broken. The hygiene and housekeeping standards were unacceptable. Even when we requested room cleaning, the room was not properly cleaned. The towels were damaged/torn, and even the breakfast tables were dirty. We also used the hotel laundry service. I deliberately handed in only white laundry, but the laundry was returned partly still dirty. One of my white T-shirts came back discoloured/damaged, and one sock is missing. In addition, our room cards repeatedly did not work. When we went to reception, the staff member on duty was extremely rude and unwilling to assist properly. She repeatedly told us to wait until the next morning, even though we were checking out the next morning. I have already submitted a formal complaint to Fletcher Guest Relations, but I also want Booking.com to be aware of the serious issues we experienced. This was not the standard advertised or reasonably expected for this accommodation. I request Booking.com’s assistance in obtaining appropriate compensation from the hotel, including compensation for the unacceptable stay, the defective facilities, the poor hygiene/housekeeping, and the damaged/missing laundry items. The stay was extremely disappointing and far below the standard I expected. The suite had heating problems, was affected by water leakage, and we could not properly shower for almost two days. Housekeeping and hygiene were poor: the room was not properly cleaned, towels were torn, and even the breakfast tables were dirty. The laundry service was unacceptable; white laundry was returned partly still dirty, one white T-shirt was discoloured/damaged, and one sock was missing. Room cards repeatedly failed, and the reception staff member on duty was rude and unwilling to help.

Locatie is perfect om Weert te bezoeken. Op 10 min loopafstand tot Grote markt. Fijne winkels.

Staff was not very helpful nor did they understand the question or concerns that multiple guest had: we all had the same issue regarding our equipment and material that we had with us for the Dutch nationals triathlon. We were not allowed to bring it to our rooms.
