Siamo clienti affezionati del Moderno Verdi, comodo e strategico per la sua posizione a poca distanza dalla stazione di Genova Brignole. Prenotando per tempo è possibile trovare ottime soluzioni qualità-prezzo per brevi soggiorni di lavoro o di vacanza. Camere confortevoli (anche le più piccole), servizio ottimo, caffetteria interna con possibilità di colazione a buffet inclusa o meno nel prezzo, reception h24 e comodo deposito bagagli. Una garanzia a Genova.

Sarebbe comodo se la colazione fosse sempre inclusa nel prezzo della camera, anche se va detto che la presenza della caffetteria interna permette comodamente di fare colazione proprio come al bar.

Wonderful choice for a short stop at Genova. Hotel is very close the train station and public transport. Room is also very comfortable

Very good location - 30 seconds far from the train station.

No sleepers available at teh hotel. Not the best view from the window ( I had a side view to the next industrial building).

All the time very dark blinds on , Breakfast can be better.

The hotel is beautiful with the splendour of a by-gone era. My room was quiet, spacious and gracious with a wooden dividing partition and a tasteful pastel-coloured ceiling. The WiFi was excellent.

There is only ONE very small lift that is usable for those who cannot negotiate stairs. I had to wait 10 minutes for the lift when I wanted to go down from 3rd floor to ground floor, to check out, with my handicapped dog and luggage. When I did get into the lift, there was so little space inside that I could not balance myself and fell when the lift jerked into motion, hurting my arm. The shower is in the bath and but there is no partition, so water went everywhere when I stood to shower. Breakfast is in a commercial café adjacent to the hotel, but hotel guests have to go through to a second room (no sign) where a simple self-service buffet breakfast costs €12. On the subject of extra costs, charging an eCar (free for Porsche drivers !) costs a flat rate of €40 however much electricity you want to put in. Just about acceptable if you need a complete battery charge (for comparison, at home in Malta at a public street charger, a complete charge costs in the region of €7.) Finally, a dog costs €20 a night, and to put your car in the garage (where the e-chargers are) costs €24 over and above the flat rate €40. I found myself paying €100 extra on top of the room price (€157). I think these supplement policies need urgent revision - thanks.
