Friendly helpful staff, very large room. Good breakfast. Very pleasant building - spacious. kettle in room. Very close to Hurtigruten quay and bus terminal. Town centre close by.

Die Lobby begrüsst einen wie ein 5-Sterne-Traum – und dann hört es auch schon auf. Kaum bewegt man sich Richtung Zimmer, übernimmt der Teppich das Erzählen der wahren Geschichte: leicht schmuddelig, mit einem Hauch von „hat schon viel erlebt“. Im Zimmer wird dieses Konzept konsequent weitergeführt – alles charmant in die Jahre gekommen und offenbar auch im selben Reinigungsrhythmus steckengeblieben. Das absolute Highlight wartet in der Dusche: Der Abfluss bewahrt liebevoll die Haare des vorherigen Gastes auf - Nachhaltigkeit mal anders. Das Frühstück? Solide. Nichts, worüber man Gedichte schreibt, aber immerhin nichts, wovor man fliehen muss. Und wer sich gern sicher fühlt, wird hier herausgefordert: Die Zimmertüren lassen sich von innen nicht abschliessen.
