Casa Vidal Hotel

Basically just the fact that when asked I was given two extra pillows because those are the WORST beds in all of Mexico and I have been all over.

The beds should be burned. Truly beyond awful and super disgustingly dirty. I slept on the tile floor with extra pillows and thankfully I had a foam topper that goes on a sun lounge chair from when I was on Isla Mujeres. I am no luxury traveler and I stay in cheap places but this one deserves to be shut down for the bed alone.

Super clean and attention to the small details

Located a block from the ADO bus station and a block from a Soriana grocery store.

At first they put us upstairs in a room where the toilet didn't work, then they put us downstairs in a room with a screen that faced the hallway and couldn't be covered, so that led to some noise coming into the room. Both rooms had some street noise, upstairs had more. Echos and conversations from the front desk were easily heard downstairs at night. They used a strong smelling "air freshener" which was so strong that I removed it from the room within 5 minutes of getting into the room. Light at night came through thin curtains, so I slept with eye covers and ear plugs. My partner, however, slept fine.

Welcoming staff. Good location.

Poor facilities. No hot water. Dirty toilet.

Big room and great customer service

Comfortable beds and big shower. Aircondition was very useful.

Guy at the reception saved my WhatsApp contact on his privat phone, did not send me the announced "rouls of the house". Receptionist was very incompetent and had no glue about my booking or how to treat costumers. Discothek near the hotel was extreamly loud!
