Beautiful property from the outside. Lobby has been renovated and is beautiful. However, the carpet in the hallways is stained and disgusting. The rooms aren’t as updated as the lobby. The breakfast area is beautiful and recently updated but the food was awful. Not a huge selection to pick from, especially on weekends. We ended up having to eat out most days because it just wasn’t edible. Our biggest complaint was that we stayed for 5 nights and they did not clean the room once. There are 2 very tiny trash cans in the room and the only way we could get them emptied was if we put the trash cans in the hallway with a note attached. Same with clean towels. We had to put the dirty ones in the hallway and had to go down to the front desk to request clean towels because they refused to come in and clean. They demand a deposit be paid upon check-in but they won’t even clean the rooms. The sound of the freeway is also VERY loud at night. We were given a room on the opposite side of the hotel (farthest from the freeway) and we could still hear the traffic loud and clear. The walls must be paper thin. Beautiful property for the most part but for how much we paid per night, we deserved better service.

The beds were horrible. Worst pillows I’ve ever used. I came home with more pain then ever. The couch you would sink all the way to the mattress of the pull out The ac did not work good at all. I think it was a clean room what needs upgrades on the bedding for both.

"Exhausted every morning & bad choice hotel suite"

Older hotel that had very high rating reviews. Facility repair staff member did an excellent job replacing a fridge/freezer with water line with broken ticking cooling unit / compressor. The new boxed fridge and freezer didn't have an auto ice maker water line. The food prep staff provided excellent coffee and a good breakfast in the mornings. The issues had been reported multiple times to front desk staff , hotels.com customer service and choice hotels staff. 1-5th floor highway side suite was extremely loud and constant traffic. The loud refrigerator ticking lasted three nights, and air cond heater fan noise was louder than highway traffic and that has to be turned off. Contacted frontdesk staff, hotels.com customer service and queen at choice hotels customer support . The general manager for the main stay suites and daily front desk managers were not available on the weekends. I requested a waiver of early departure fee. No one contacted property general manager on the weekend with my concerns! I had contacted the front desk about the cold pool multiple times when front desk staff stayed pool heater was working and maybe turned off early. I asked the daily front desk manager to have facilities staff check the pool temp because the pool temp was cold on 3/24/2025 again. I was told that a third party repair person would finally be contacted about the pool heater not working. The pool was skimmed in the mid morning. Will be requesting a partial refund!

The check in went very smooth, room was large and clean, the only negative was on the second morning the breakfast sausage wasn't cooked almost raw, and the hash browns was maybe 50% cooked.

My allergies were affected with the laundry detergent, or fabric softener. Unscented would be much preferred if I stay in the future. My eyes swelled up miserably.
