Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown

The room that we booked wasn't available, so they moved us into a different room. Expedia didn't capture the City Tax for the room, so there was an additional charge.

The staff was mostly pleasant. They gave me an early check-in which I greatly appreciate.

The room lost power in the living room and bedroom and never came back on. When mentioned to the front desk, all they could say was "sorry we have no idea why" I paid over $400 for one night and didn't have power for half of it. Unacceptable. There was hair in the tub and bathroom floor also

Breakfast was really good.

First room HVAC didn't work. Stayed one night in that room but it was so hot. Called front desk many times with no answer so went down to talk to them in person. Stood in line for 30 plus minutes. Was given handwritten instructions and told to try to fix it myself because it happens all the time. Didn't work. Went back down to front desk. Stood in line again for 30 plus minutes. Asked for another room. Second room stunk like moldy wet carpet mixed with dog urine. Bed sheets did not fit in either room so sleeping was rough. Furniture was old and chipped/broken in both rooms. Couch was very uncomfortable. Normally never complain about anything but for the price it was really bad and honestly disappointing.

This hotel was at a perfect location to the Climate Pledge Arena, where our event was held at.

The location of this hotel was good, we could walk to places that we wanted to visit. The bed and pull out couch were very uncomfortable to sleep on. The pull out couch was super thin and felt like we were sleeping on the floor.

The hotel's location is great, and the breakfast staff are one of the most hardworking people making sure food and hot beverages were always replenished. Our main dissatisfaction was with front desk staff and the claim that rooms are which sorely need training. We stayed with 2 young kids for 7 nights and not once was the room made. Had to ask for new towels and take out the trash. Requested the room be made the next morning sincebaby When we returned to the room, it had not been made. Front desk lady insisted their system showed that the room has been made and mom asked her to come see for herself. Eventually got our own linens and made our own beds again.

Cost was not comparable to comfort and location First time I’ve had to pay for my bags to be kept after checkout?!

The Queen Ann Bar around the corner had great beer and fantastic food.
