Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines

I have a great experience every time I stay at this hotel. In my most recent stay, our room had amazing golf course and ocean views. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Location is also conveniently near the golf course and 20min from downtown SD. There is even a tennis court that I got to enjoy in the morning. We got to play some impromptu doubles with fellow guests at the hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel and I love how quiet and relaxing the rooms are. What really stood out was the valet and bell service. Darren and Rich made an excellent first impression and ensured our stay ended on the same high note. Their friendly, professional service made us want to come back. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Jerry and Mark at the bar totally made our experience. We had dinner and came back after our concert. They are just the perfect duo behind the bar and so helpful. 1000 percent would come back because of them

My husband and I had a room block at the Hilton for our wedding. Everything was amazing from start to finish. The staff especially. From the moment we arrived, the team helped us with all of our bags and supplies for our wedding. We had so much stuff and they moved all of it around for us. We stayed in a standard room which was big, spacious, and clean. We also stayed in the Champion Suite which was unbelievable! The suite overlooked the golf course and was massive! It had a full size refrigerator, microwave, and a grand piano. When we were getting ready to leave the suite the morning after our wedding, exhausted and incapable of lifting a thing, one of the team members Darren H. helped us a ton with moving our things to the car and to the other side of the hotel. Everyone there was so great to work with. We had a really great experience and look forward to going back.

Our stay at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines was very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located near some awesome hiking trails that lead to the ocean, making it a great place to relax and explore the area. All of the employees were courteous and professional, but our breakfast waitress, Ana G., truly stood out. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely happy. Her positive attitude was contagious and made our mornings even more enjoyable. It's always refreshing to meet people who truly enjoy their work and take pride in providing excellent service. We have stayed at the Hilton Torry Pines several times over the last few years and it has always been nice, but this past trip was exceptional. As diamond members we were, for the very first time, given a room with a better view. As loyal members for over 20+ years, we appreciate being treated in such a manner. Twice, we had breakfast in the big room downstairs. Both times, the food and the service were excellent. The wait staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. However, the way the head bell captain, Rich Woods, welcomed and treated us throughout our entire visit, really made such a special difference. Every time he saw us, he treated us like he was welcoming us into his own home. He was so personable and kind. It was really fun to interact with him and we noticed that he treated everyone the same way. What an exceptional employee the Hilton Torry Pines has in Rich. During the UCSD Water Polo season, we will often stay at other Hilton’s in the area because they are a little less expensive but because of our experience this past visit, this coming season we plan on staying exclusively at the Hilton Torry Pines. We look forward to seeing our new friend Rich and enjoying our future visits.

Upon arrival my friend and I were greeted by Rich Woods, the bell captain. He asked our names and never forgot them over the three days we were there. He is the warmest, most accommodating and caring hotel bell captain I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every morning when we came downstairs to go to the golf course our bags were waiting for us already loaded on the cart and Rich made sure we knew everything we needed to know about the resort and golf course. He really went above and beyond all expectations. The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines has several restaurants and we tried 3 of them for our meals. Every thing, cuisine, wait staff and accommodations were of the highest quality. If I’m able to play the Torrey Pines courses again, the Hilton will be my first choice. Bravo!!

My husband and I celebrated our 20th year Anniversary (June 4th-June 8th) at your La Jolla Hilton Hotel... It was incredible and amazing this was our first visit and we've already talked about revisiting- it was the most incredible 5 days and 4 nights! You started off with meeting Mr. Rich Woods...we arrived extra early,Rich took the time to take us 4 on a tour out on the golf cart to show us/the guys,the view right in front of the Pro Shop-to excite them on their Golf outing for the following day on the South Course...the beauty of the ocean was breathtaking!! Each day Rich asked us how the day was...he made us feel,seen! If we had questions,he was there to answer them and his suggestions were very helpful! We,Thank you Rich!! Great location!!! Was there for a business trip, now I just wanna comeback for a vacation …, location is perfect for ocean views and golfing

I had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here recently, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I walked through the door, the hospitality was top-notch, but what truly made the evening memorable was the incredible staff. The team here completely redefines excellent service. They were extremely attentive to my needs as a customer, ensuring that my glass was never empty and that everything was arriving perfectly. What I appreciated most was how influential and knowledgeable the staff was when it came to guiding me through the menu. Instead of just taking an order, they took the time to explain the dishes, highlight the flavor profiles, and offer genuine recommendations that hit the absolute sweet spot. It is rare to find a restaurant where the service is just as spectacular as the food, but this place nails it. If you appreciate great hospitality and a team that genuinely cares about your dining experience, do yourself a favor and visit. I will absolutely be returning!
