Hotel Bonaventure Montreal

A great stay from start to finish. Our firm family favourite of 4 hotels. We arrived early and to our pleasant surprise, our room was already ready for us to enjoy! Great vibe, character, style location, restaurant and service. Loved the outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. And a heated duck pond in winter in downtown Montréal? The swing chairs in the lobby and free hot drinks just off reception were also a nice touch. Maintenance came out quickly to unblock the toilet. My only niggle was the security deposit taken at check-in which took weeks to come off my card which didn’t detract from our stay.

The vibe was not my taste. That said others v enjoyed it.

The location was excellent.

The restaurant was poorly rated, so I didn’t eat there.
