Motel 6-Tifton, GA

On arrival the area was sketchy, but we were all tired and ready to eat and go to bed for the evening after driving all day. After checking in and going to our rooms, they were dirty, no shampoo in the bathroom, one bar of soap, a broken toilet, black curly hairs on the comforter (gross), cigarette holes in the comforters, graffiti on the doors, and a foul odor. The rooms were very hot and took forever to start cooling off. We complained to the office and were moved to two different rooms that were a little better, but still had broken showers, tvs and telephones that didn’t work, and were also uncomfortably hot. The whole area felt unsafe and had I known, we would have stayed in a different town. We considered leaving, but didn’t want to chance finding another hotel equally as bad as this one. Will be avoiding this area in the future and telling everyone we know to avoid it as well! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Good place to stay

We will be back - basic hotel, great for a stop over to sleep and continue on your way. Great mattress...even got the name, came home and located where I can purchase one for my house.

Affordable and for the price a good quality.

We have stayed here a few times before and been satisfied. We are not hard to please but there was nothing good about this room - dirty, horrible condition, lightbulbs missing, poor flush toilet, bathroom floor horrid, one tiny bar of hand soap, no shampoo, took 6 hours to cool room to tolerable condition. Going to have to write Motel 6 completely off our list.

Location is great. 400yrds from the exit, restaurant next door, gas station half a block away! Owners Ket and Nick [and beautiful daughter!] are very welcoming. We stay here on our way back and forth to Florida twice a year! It's not the Ritz but neither is the cost. Great value!!!

I have never been in a hotel dirtier than this one. I have never seen such dirt in any country in the world. Even the low price does not justify it. It is shameful.

It took over 3 hours for the issue with my reservation to be resolved before i was a le to get the key to a room. Then the rook was horrible. There was mold on the walls. It was dirty as well, like it hadn't even been cleaned. Stayed at this motel several times before. It's a hit and miss whether a good nice renovated room or a nasty outdated room is given to guests!
