Poor breakfast . No cereal or granola or musili. Very limited fruit. Melon only. I requested fruit salad only to be told I would have pay extra!!

I stay in hotels for a living, so I don’t usually bother writing reviews but this place genuinely surprised me. I spent about 10 days at Hilton Petaling Jaya, then moved around to a couple of other hotels nearby (DoubleTree Shah Alam, DoubleTree Putrajaya, Hilton Glenmarie). All were nice… but I ended up coming straight back here. That probably says everything. Rooms are very modern, new, spacious and actually practical if you’re staying more than a night or two. The bathroom has a huge window connecting the room which creates a spacious feel. Decent desk, strong WiFi, comfortable bed. It’s the kind of place you can settle into quickly rather than feel like you’re constantly living out of a suitcase. Pool is really nice, clean, quiet, and just a good place to switch off. Not packed with people or chaos. There’s a bar by the poor where you can get fresh towels and order a drink etc. The gym was a big one for me. It’s properly spacious with new equipment and loads of room between everything. I never once had to wait for anything, and half the time it was empty. If you train regularly, you’ll appreciate it. Breakfast really stands out, good mix of Western and Asian options, always fresh, and well run even when it’s busy. But the main reason I came back and the reason I’ll keep coming back is the service. In particular, Ganesh (Assistant Front Office Manager) stood out. Not in an over-the-top way, just consistently helpful, switched on, and genuinely cared that things were running smoothly. You can tell when someone takes pride in what they do and if you’re fortunate enough to deal with Ganesh, you’ll appreciate how good service can make all the difference. Before I forget, the executive lounge makes a huge difference. If you’d like to get out of your room and enjoy a coffee peace, make a call or have more of private breakfast setting then it’s a great place to be. Overall, it just punches above what you’d expect. After trying a couple of other places in the area, this is now the only one I’ll stay at in Kuala Lumpur.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Petaling Jaya. The overall experience was excellent, with all the staff being incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-managed. The service stood out the most, every team member I encountered was helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The environment was comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying here again in the future.
