Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale-Plantation

Everything was Great the Rooms was clean bed was comfortable and the Breakfast and fruit were all delicious

The young lady that checked me in was very dry and not welcoming. She put me in a filthy room at the end of the hall on the fourth floor with a loud fan on the floor facing the hallways window. I complained about it and she moved me to another filthy room on the second floor. I complained about that one and finally she put me and my babies on the freshly painted, newly remolded third floor. The third floor looked like a completely different floor getting off the elevator. Even the hallway carpet was cleaner than the other two floors. Despite being on a cleaner floor, my daughter got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and woke me up screaming because she saw a roach. I killed it and showed it to the manager the next morning. They did give me a refund and apologize, but I left the next day when I had the room booked for two days. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff was great, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great

Good value for the price. Very conveniently located.

Property was under renovations room had some minor issues after the renovations however the stay was extremely good.

Under construction,dirty.Had to get room key reset each day

Front desk person checking me in seemed bothered that i was there to check in. Hotel definitely needs the upgrade that it is getting.

Room was okay had a musty smell so we had to keep the AC on high. Bed was good and floor was quiet despite the large number of children in the hotel. Bfasr was not as expected compared to other Hampton hotels we have stayed at before. Elevators were slow and 1 of 2 not funcrional.
