"OK, but overpriced. I am not likely to return."

The location was good for my stay, and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff members were friendly and helpful.

An extra $75 fee for having a pet is ridiculous. I can't imagine that my chihuahua made that much extra work for the staff. The dog poop containers outside hadn't been emptied in quite some time and were on the verge of overflowing, so I know my $75 didn't cover that. Before arriving, I received an email saying that I could check in online by downloading the app. I did so, but I was unable to open my reservation. I called customer service and the person with whom I spoke said everything was fine and it should work. Then she said I could earn enough points for a one-night stay just by learning about a new product offering. I agreed, and politely listened to the information about a time share program. I told the representative that I was not interested, but of course, she, like other time share salespeople, would not take no for an answer. After dealing with her high pressure sales tactics, she finally realized I would not be attending a sales presentation. Of course, the points are not in my account. What a waste of time

They changed up a few items on their breakfast bar that I didn't like. They used to have mini omlettes that were amazing but didn't have them on my last stay. Everything else was good.

breakfast omlette was very good

the room was fairly dark, more expensive than the equivalent places i have stayed. was more like a motel 6 or super8 in niceness. breakfast was mostly plain with no flavor.

"Prairie style coziness"

Great stay! Big surprise to see a Frank Lloyd Wright themed Hampton Inn. We really enjoyed our night here. Plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner. Our room was warm and clean. Breakfast was extra good and fully stocked with grab and go items along with full entrees eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when passing through the area.
