Hampton Inn Bedford

This hotel’s website (Hampton Inn, Bedford PA) clearly shows an exercise room with free weights and a bench in its photos. But there are no weights in the exercise room. It’s only cardio equipment. I booked my night here specifically so I could keep up with my lifting program. This is false advertising on their part.

During my leisure stay, I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel’s standards of excellence. The rooms were pristine, exuding both comfort and sophistication. The staff demonstrated the highest levels of courtesy, and their attentiveness elevated the experience far beyond expectation. Exceptional customer service was consistently evident, from arrival through departure. This property truly sets a benchmark in hospitality, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to discerning travellers seeking both quality and care.

While this is listed as pet-friendly the property around the hotel is not. There is insufficient space to walk a dog, with only a narrow strip of dry grass along the driveway available. The room, as is often the case with pet-friendly rooms, was in need of touch-ups: bathroom baseboards, missing bathroom wall hook, box spring cover. Also, a sign outside the rear entry leading to our room still states no dogs allowed. In light of this a $75 pet fee (for our 10# dog) seems excessive. However, staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast adequate and similar to other hotels’ offerings.

I had a really lovely stay at the Hampton Inn Bedford. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, with beautiful grounds that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Food was lovely and rooms were very good size and super clean! The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience even better. Everything felt comfortable and inviting — I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

My experience was great with all my friends visiting old Bedford village, old bridges and downtown Bedford caries so much historical and even though we all stayed 2 nights was not enough so we will be back to visit around fall. Property is very quiet and well maintained and managed by awesome people and it shows how much they care about their communities and property ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Ease of checking in. Pool, hot tub and garden area were very nice.

Location

Dirty, even the elevator. Breakfast was horrible. No fruit. Only 2% milk, only choice of coffee was light roast. The “omelet” was fake eggs. I asked for wake-up call that never came. 700 Club on TV. Wi-fi in room didn’t work. Could not adjust heat (it was 50 degrees that night).
