Hampton Inn Florence Midtown near University of North Alabama

Everyone was friendly and the room well appointed and comfortable.

Close to where I needed to be

Asked for a bathtub and had a bathtub but the tub did not have a water spout and had to fill the bath by turning on the shower head which took a very long time and water was not very warm once tub was filled enough to take a bath. Very disappointed in this. Should not be listed as a bathtub room if you can’t fill the tub.

When I checked in, they refused to give me the booking.com discount that I had used to reserve the room, saying vaguely that booking.com had published the wrong rate. That forced me to pay what I consider a scandalously high room rate for the Florence, Alabama area. Had I known that, I would have chosen another hotel.

The Mapco next door had a lot of traffic which made us a little uneasy after dark. But outside of that little concern we were well please with all of the accommodations and would stay there again

It's the second time in a row at a Hampton the next room was fighting while everyone in the free world is sleeping.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and have certain expectations. This is one of the best! The place seemed up-to-date, but it looked like they were getting ready to do even more renovations. Every member of the staff we came into contact with was friendly and competent. The room was clean, with all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable. The shower head was great, but there could have been a little more pressure. Quiet overnight. Common areas were clean. The breakfast was well-stocked with a good variety of options. Good biscuits, but no gravy! A good stay for us as we passed through town on a road trip.
