Property nice but messed up on customer service big time

I made a reservation which got mixed up. I booked for a day later for a one night stay. . My fault. I arrived a day early. I was told just cancell the next day all good. They had space. Staff said just cancell the next day it will be fine. Hotel refused. I paid for 2 days after an original booking for one. I understand cancellation policy but property got revenue for my stay albiet on a different day. After explaining situation they still refused. I thought it was a reasonable request from a customer service point of view easily could’ve done. So I will never stay there again. Lots of options in Niagara Falls. I’ve instructed all of my employees not to book there and I will personally never stay at a Marriot property again.

The room was newly renovated and the employees provided great customer services.

The air conditioner was right beside the bed without giving customers a chance to adjust the direction of the fan. It really affected the quality of sleeping.
