Front desk reception was incredibly friendly and happy. I usually move right past front desk through the remote key checkin and I was on my way when they were so friendly offering water and cookies. Cookies that were really good. They had well stocked fruit and coffee. Thank you so much.

Ugh the beds feel like full size, just seem a bit small when we are expecting queen.

"Bad experience"

The room reeked of cigarettes and some other musky smells. Didn’t give us enough pillows and bedding was not comfortable. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working so it would get hard to breathe while taking a shower. We stayed for 2 nights and we couldn’t sleep at all the 2nd night because my daughter has asthma and she couldn’t breathe so we ended up checking out sooner than we wanted to. Overall a very bad experience for a pretty costly hotel. One thing is for sure that we will never book at Hampton Inn anymore.

"Softball Tournament Gone Right"

We were in for the weekend for a softball series @ the local university. The check in was easy & the front desk staff was very friendly, accommodating, & very helpful w/ local recommendations for local restaurants & such. We were traveling w/ other softball families & the hotel was extremely accommodating for us gathering in the lobby & having breakfast together in the morning. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The only minor issue was the TV lineup available, rectified w/ a Roku though, no biggie there. The hot breakfast choices were decent and everything was kept neat & fresh. The coffee was pretty good for ‘hotel coffee’, w/ a wide variety of selection for hot tea. & of course the waffle makers are a huge bonus, w/ an offering of red velvet cake batter! Everything was kept stocked. For a very reasonably priced room w/ good basic breakfast choices, you can’t go wrong. I would definitely stay here again if back in town.

This property was advertised as “High point”. I was looking for a place near high point university. This property is in another town 20-30 min away.

"It was all good except the bathroom and bed."

Breakfast was great.

Small commode in room. No way to pull myself up. Need more handrails in shower. Bed mattress needs to be changed has a dip in it.
