Location clean loved it

Not much I did not like

Good, clean hotel. No issues that would cause me not to stay but some minor aesthetic flaws. A/C was nice and cold, mini fridge worked great, beds comfy and clean. The only minor things were that there were some holes left in the wall where the a/c unit had, apparently, been moved in an update and not patched up, some wallpaper was bubbling (though it was obviously new,) and the water pressure was pretty low. But convenient for our trip purposes and would stay here again. Hope they get these few minor items fixed up!

Came into Houma to visit with my family and attend my 50th. High school reunion. This hotel is managed very well. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. It appeared that they enjoyed working there. I definitely will stay here again.

I like that the floor was quiet and not by the elevators. The room was clean and did not have an odor. I like the only person that acknowledged me while leaving for the day was the young lady in the front on 3/13/25 maybe around 10:30-11ish AM The AC in the room worked perfect. Nice and cool.

I didn't like that there was a false fire alarm as soon as I got into the room and found out from someone in the hallway that it was a false alarm, then within maybe 30 minutes our power went out but all the businesses around us had power. I couldn't even call to the front desk with my cell phone because I assume your phones were out as well. Therefore, I couldn't do my work for my next day client visits. When power came on, I couldn't connect to my VPN through your Wi-Fi like I have in the past. When I left for dinner on 3/13 the person at the front wouldn't even give eye contact or acknowledge me as a guest. On my check out day at 8:01 am housekeeping did not knock, and my sign was out on the door (do not disturb) and they attempted to come in with no warning. I was in the middle of changing and I quickly snapped the latch you have at the door. No warning knock, no warning with someone saying housekeeping and it was not close to the time of checkout it was 8:01AM That is unacceptable. As a woman staying alone during a business trip was scary when someone trying to come in not knowing who it was until I swung the latch and looked out the peephole. Also, your shower head pressure was terrible in room 320. I have long hair, and it felt like forever just to rinse out the shampoo out of my hair.

Typically have a good experience with Hampton in Houma. This weekend didn't work out like that. Trouble with water pressure, trouble with hot water, Saturday morning they ran out of food for the complimentary breakfast. Housekeeping around the breakfast area left a little to be desired, kind of dirty. Generally I have great experience to this hotel but it was a bad weekend for some reason

I stayed here for business in New Orleans on Superbowl Weekend. Houma was the closest Hampton Inn near New Orleans that had availability during this time. It is an older property, so you may expect some issues. The breakfast was good at this location. My room was fairly comfortable. The fitness room was fine with lots of equipment. The location of this hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. Housekeeping did a great job providing daily cleaning. The front desk personnel were very friendly and resourceful.
