"Average Hampton Inn"

We almost always stay at Hampton Inn's. They are clean and have comfortable beds. The room was fine but the heat/ac fan ran constantly. We ended up turning the ac off because the noise was driving us crazy and it was blowing on us nonstop. The highway noise was pretty bad too with semi's going by all night. I would definitely try to get a room on the side away from the highway next time! There are several restaurants you can walk to so that was nice.

Loved that breakfast was offered. Staff was great. Only thing I did not care for was the shower. Seemed dirty, glass was cloudy and didn’t look clean…our shower had rusting on parts near floor which looked grimey. We were in 205 and room was decent but looked like it was cleaned quickly, and not thoroughly. We came from MN, 3 hr and 45 min drive to stay there and had an extra hour to check out but would’ve appreciated being able to stay until 1 instead of noon. Just posting so maybe these requests can be resolved or satisfactory for future guests. Thank you

My only With my stay is that when I went to make a cup of coffee in my room, I pulled out the coffee maker from underneath the TV and it was complete dust. It’s obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in months, so I opted not to make a cup. Everything else was clean, but not being able to have a cuppa coffee in my room was a disappointment.

"Efficiently Run Hotel"

The hotel is conveniently located to the Lacrosse and Great River bike trails and good restaurants. It is clean and efficient and the staff is friendly, hard-working and willing to help with any issues. Breakfast/coffee is started early - a real plus for us early birds. Interior lobby and rooms are well furnished/maintained. Fitness center is disappointing with only a few cardio machines in a tiny room. Exterior could use a paint/refinish. Finally I suggest get a new supplier for breakfast muffins/pastries. They are dry and tasteless - but I believe the unfortunate standard for all Hampton Inns/Hilton.
