I liked it was close to my son's college Chowan University. The stay was quiet, I was pleased with the stay

I saw 2 roaches in my room the shower was so small you basically touching the walls the room ranked of cigarette smoke

This is an ok place for 1 night. No restaurants except foreign food. room was old fashioned.

The location was horrible. Even from the outside, it was dirty and unkempt. When I was shown my room, the employee went in before me to check if it was ready. The room was a downgrade from Motel 6. The room was filthy. There was dust everywhere, stains on the walls, and the chairs were stained. I was not comfortable with using the bathroom. I pulled the blanket (which reminded me of a military blanket), and the sheets were stained. The curtain was so flimsy it was blowing around because of the air flow from the air conditioner. The door's deadbolt did not close the door securely, and the chain on the door offered no additional security. I told the employee I did not feel safe at this property and left. I drove another hour to the Hampton Inn.

I tried to cancel my reservations online but couldn’t. Poor place to stay , room smelled a lot . I did not stay and returned my key after checking in and kept driving! There were no other place to stay in that town. Overall it is not good town to stay overnight.
