Hampton Inn Lafayette-I-10

Disappointed in breakfast waffle machine broken, cold bacon and limited amount of food out. Room and lobby carpet could have been cleaned and vacuumed.

An outdoor parking lot light was shinning directly into the room and into the face of anyone in the bed. The DRAPS COULD NOT BE CLOSED. THIS CONDITION WAS NOT EVIDENT UNTIL AFTER DARK. Pillows were lumpy.

Staff was friendly, the free breakfast was great!

This property is in desperate need of a renovation. Room 212 had rusty light fixtures, putty on the wall, and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom.

All good except for the $75 pet fee which is double of most every place else. No coffee available at breakfast (pot was broken) and on a cold morning that’s a sin. Otherwise, good front office staff at checkin and checkout. Noisy from the highway too.

I was disappointed that i had to pay extra to have my pet stay. This wasnt made clear when i made reservations on hotels.com. Also the elevater was not functioning so this made it very difficult to get all my luggage, etc to/from the 3rd floor.

No bathroom fan, rust on all room light fixtures, a barn door for a bathroom door (what?!), and the toilet was not fully connected to the floor (it wobbled and swiveled on one rusty bolt!). Overall I was disappointed in this stay, considering I typically have reliable experiences at Hampton Inn. The good: water was hot and strong. Bed was very warm and comfortable. Yet, with a few comparable hotels nearby, I should have stayed elsewhere.

Decent room. However, the electrical system in the room was faulty. Every time the fridge cycled on, the TV would go off. Also, the lamps in the room didn't work well, and one didn't work at all. Check was smooth and gentleman was friendly.

Dirty place.
