Pros: The location of the hotel is unmatched. It is a walking distance to Gare De Dakar, Independence Place, and the ferry to Goree Island. The staff were courteous (initially), and the owner,Jean Micheal, was helpful. When we couldn’t charge our gadgets, he bought us a universal adapter. The free breakfast was also really good. I particularly enjoyed the fresh bread and eggs. Cons: When you need to iron, you have to take it down to the staff, and they iron your clothes for you… which is an awesome service. However, the girl burnt my pants and did not say anything. It was later while I was out in town that I saw that my pants had a hole from iron burns. I would have appreciated her owning up to it. Lastly!! This hotel needs to do better in the area of food cleanliness. Several times, I saw the staff use their FINGERS to put ice in glasses for patrons.The first time was the guy who makes cocktails. I saw him use his bare hands to put ice in a cup while making cocktails for a guest! This is unacceptable, and it turned me off majorly. I also saw one of the young girls in the restaurants do the same. It is appalling (esp in covid times). No one knows where your hands have been! I hope management corrects this immediately. Other than this, I enjoyed my stay here. The price was right, hotel was comfortable, and location, amazing! I will definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming from arrival, beautiful views from the poolside, lovely rooms with sea views. Super friendly personnel. Only slight issue was a moist smell from the bedsheets, but not too bad.

We received an excellent service from the owner from the very moment of the reservation. We had an issue with our trip and she helped us immediately. We really recommend this beautiful place of Dakar.

Great value hotel. The rooms are modern with good air conditioning and TVs with Netflix. The location is quiet with lovely views over the ocean from the terrace. However, it is within walking distance of the Goree ferry, the African art museum, good restaurants and Independence Square. Good breakfast with fresh baguette, croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice. The owners were helpful. It has a car park if you are driving but transport to and from the airport can be arranged. Access is available to the sea but take shoes as the entrance is rocky.

Very poor customer services, unwelcoming, staffs not professional , bad service, dont have a clue how to run an hôtel better stick to the members only It seems like this is an club exclusively for French people runner by French people hôtel guest are second after the members will never stay there worst place don’t call it hotel and stick to amical for French member
