I frequently visit this area on business. This hotel used to be my favorite place to stay (reasonable price, good location, friendly staff, clean, great breakfast choices), but the last two times I’ve stayed here, the rooms smell awful. I thought it was just a fluke, but it’s not. The last time I stayed there my room smelled like a wet dog. After a two day stay, I could not wait to get out. The smell was making me nauseous. I don’t want to, but I am looking for another hotel of choice (likely another brand that does allow pets). I wish this hotel would change its pet policy.

Hotel is fine but dated & needs upgrades

The breakfast had a good selection, was tasty and fresh. The suite was clean, bed very comfortable and bathroom linens were bright white, fresh and fluffy.

The hotel is beautiful! We had a great time! The breakfast was great as well!

This property was much cleaner and the staff much better than Jacksonville but neither one of these hotels were as nice as the one in Somerville NJ

**Hampton Inn Mooresville, NC - Disappointing Experience** My recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Mooresville, North Carolina, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was particularly frustrating. Despite using the app to check in beforehand, I was still required to visit the front desk to present my ID and credit card for incidentals. After a long day of driving, this extra step felt unnecessary and cumbersome, as I had assumed the app check-in would streamline the process. The hotel itself is in dire need of updates. The lobby and hallways showed clear signs of wear, with ripped and torn carpets in multiple areas. The ceilings appeared neglected, with visible damage from what seemed like a past flood that hadn’t been properly addressed. Most concerning was the condition of the bathroom in my room—the tub was noticeably unclean, which made for an uncomfortable stay. While the staff was polite, these issues significantly detracted from the overall experience. The hotel’s outdated facilities and poor maintenance make it hard to recommend. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve future guest experiences.
