Overall, this was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was awesome, and the staff was very polite. If you look close, you can see there's some lipstick on a pig in some spots of the rooms. Wallpaper peeling, rusty hinges, etc. But it wasn't so bad that it detracted from the overall stay.

After a long day of traveling, we had a great stay at this hotel. The lobby and staff were so welcoming. The pool area was really nice too. The surrounding grounds were well maintained and we liked how the hotel was tucked away from the main roads.

Everything in our room was damp, the carpet, the sheets, everything. Not sure if maybe the air conditioning was not on for a while in the room or what. It was pretty humid outside. We arrived to the hotel around 1 am, and had been traveling all day, if it had been earlier or i wasn't so tired i would have asked to change rooms. We turned the air on high & went to bed. By morning the sheets felt better, but the carpet was still a little damp. The breakfast choices were not as plentiful as most Hampton Inn's that we have stayed at. The service was fine, pleasant staff.

"Didn’t know the whole hotel was pet friendly…"

I’m allergic to most dogs and I could tell immediately that there were dogs in the hotel. Had no idea until I asked that EVERY room in the hotel allows dogs. And that it is now a Hilton policy. We’re Hilton Honors but will not be booking at Hilton because of this policy. The room appeared to be clean but did not smell clean nor did the hotel. I spent the weekend with itchy eyes, itchy throat and a cough. I think some floors or at least rooms should be kept for non-pet rooms like it was many years ago for in-smoking. Hilton please reconsider this policy.
