Le Fratte Luxury Home

We had a wonderful stay at La Fratte Luxury Home, set in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the south side of Mount Vesuvius. The views alone are worth the visit! Our host, Anna, was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. She was always just a WhatsApp message away and responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything easy and stress-free. The apartment itself is finished to a very high standard. It’s spacious and well-equipped, with two comfortable bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us cool even during the hottest days of our trip. Do note that while the property is less than a mile from the train station, it is located up a very steep hill with many steps. We had originally planned to rely solely on public transport, but after our first walk up from the station, we decided to hire a car. Thankfully, secure parking is available for just €10 per day, which made all the difference. The apartment is spotlessly clean and includes everything you need for a longer stay—washing and drying machines, a dishwasher, a well-equipped kitchen, a TV, strong Wi-Fi (400–500 Mbps), and plenty of space to relax. Overall, this was a fantastic base for exploring the Amalfi Coast and surrounding areas. Just be prepared for the climb—or bring a car!

The climb from the town centre, a vehicle is highly recommend.

Very fresh, newly renovated and spacious apartment, squeeky clean. Very comfortable beds, great airco across the entire apartment. Stunning view of the Vesuvius and the sea. There was a washing machine in the apartment building which came in very handy as well. Very friendly hosts. Both us and the kids loved our stay :)

We were very happy with our stay, the only remark would be that we couldn't figure out how to get the dish washer to work properly, so perhaps some instructions could be available to guests. The location is also a little tricky with the car, as of you don't arrive from the big road, google maps will send you into the most stressful narrow streets that as a tourist you might want to avoid with a rental car, so in my opinion, it's handier to navigate by GPS to the castle instead of the street address, to avoid driving around too much upon arrival. Those are my only tips for the future :)

The appartment was very nicely and cosy furnished. We liked it a lot. Enough space for 4 poeple to feel very comfortable. The place was VERY clean, which we appreciated very much. The view from the apartment was over the bay and Vesuvio. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They answered every question we had. We also got invited by them to a nice breakfast in one of the cafes in the city. Thank you for making our stay a great holiday!

The apartment was clean, well appointed and the location was very nice as you have a great view over the Gulf of Napels.

We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults but in one of the bedrooms they set up a sofa bed al that was not too comfortable. After checkout we were accused of breaking the glass in the sliding door to the balcony however we did NOT caused this. Also they claimed that we ruined the kitchen sink with “aggressive” detergent. We only used the washing-up liquid provided and nothing else. Also the way this was communicated, by WhatsApp and half a day after we left was not very guest friendly. This incident has placed a real negative feeling on a otherwise nice stay.

Great location, convenient to visit Pompei, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Very nice and clean apartment. The apartment probably has the best views in the Golf of Naples.

The hosts, the view, the accommodations, the amenities were beyond our expectations! A really clean, well designed, perfectly furnished, place to stay. Again, the views are breath-taking! Of all the places we stayed in our trip, by far was the best. We chose Castellammare as our hub for visiting various places: Napoli and its surroundings, the Amalfi coast, and Pompeii; so having Le Fratte as our "home" was perfect, it didn't disappoint. Le Fratte has a private parking spot; that said I would recommend to have a car/vehicle to get there, and to be able buy groceries and drinks if you need them. You can walk to town, but it is downhill and a little far from shops and restaurants.

If I had to be picky; because of its location, teens visit during night time for the view. They spend time and leave rubbish (cans, bottles, cigarette buts) outside. But it is not something that really affects your visit.

Perfectly clean, bright and comfortable apartment with an amazing view in the new apartment complex!

A bit loud during nights, because of the youth under the windows gathering in the evening.

The house was clean and spacious.

The shower has just raining water from above. No portable shower. A bit noise locaton but good window isolation.
