A "must-stay" if you're in the area. Views are absolutely breathtaking, rooms gorgeous, staff super friendly, charming gardens and don't forget to visit the amazing museum and scary dungeon.

"We spent 2 nights, and it was just perfect to hike, and explore a few of the villages around Alf!"

The staff and location are definitely the best. Staff was very kind and communication went well even if we don’t speak German. The location is amazing - indeed a castle, you feel back in time. The garden is beautiful and the area super peaceful. The hotel is 10 minutes walking from the main hiking trails in the region, and it is easy to access by car. Plus: very pet friendly!

The drive to the castle is a little tricky, but what else would one expect from a castle anyway.
