Hampton Inn St. Augustine-I-95

Police outside, no ac in hallway, machine broken.

The bathroom was clogged. Changed to a new room. The property was not cleaned very well. I could feel the bed bugs.

The property is difficult to access due to long term construction on the access roads. I was not offered the complimentary drink and snack due to my membership level.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable accommodations. Several hot & cold buffet breakfast options to start your morning with unlimited coffee, tea and / or juice.

Older hotel but stay was good! Brooke at the front desk was personable and helped make our stay pleasant. Construction around hotel is a bit of a mess right now so your GPS may direct you in the wrong direction (as of 6/1/24)

At checkout the dest clerk & manager held me in financially hostages for my Hotels.com booking payment to them at the hotel. Telling me to call hotels.com about the payment to them for my 3 night stay. The clerk finally brought me the receipt after some time waiting for my $3.00 purchase i told her they'll get a negative review from me. She said she shouldn't helped me out. All i wanted was a receipt for my $3.00 purchase in the hotel. The window shade was broken when i arrived i contacted a guy cleaning the rooms to show him I'm using hangers to keep it up - OK. No problem about it to me i just thought i would mention it because I'm making this serious complaint of feeling held financially hostage by a rude desk clerk.

Breakfast is awful. Eggs tasted plastic. Cheerios were beyond stale. Toast was like eating air. Coffee was good.

My worst Hampton Inn experience ever. Room was very tired looking. Last guest's used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Little hot water. Tub faucet falling off wall.
