Room was HUGE. Hard to find since there is no sign but not a people is the host gives you a ride.

The location, and property itself are stunning. The views from the large windows are to the mountains and the interior is finished to a modern and very high standard. Very tranquil all in all. Although the property is located out of town, Vanesa was happy to give us a lift when required. Breakfast was to an excellent standard providing a selection of good food which set us up for the day.

This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It appeared even more spacious and inviting than the photos suggested. During our six-night stay, we felt incredibly comfortable, almost as if we were at a 5-star resort. We intentionally chose this location for its proximity to Ollantaytambo while offering a peaceful escape from the town center. We even enjoyed a scenic walk to the Ollantaytambo citadel one morning. Vanessa was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She went above and beyond, offering a complimentary drive to the train station on our Machu Picchu excursion and even offering a return pickup. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, eggs, bread, and more. We did have to request smaller portions after the first day as the initial servings were quite generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travelers.

The setting of the house, set in the Sacred Valley surrounded by mountains is superb. The room we had was huge, with massive windows giving us the view of the mountains opposite...quite superb. We chose to stay here for our first 5 nights in Peru, to acclimatise to the altitude (Ollantaytambo is quite a bit lower than Cusco for instance) and to get into the swing of things in a quieter environment. Also, of course there is the direct train to Macchu Piccu from here! Vanessa was a wonderful host and she provided us not only with a beautiful breakfast each day, she was kind enough to transport us to and from the town which was a real bonus. If it wasn't for her doing this then it could have been a bit of a pain getting in and out of town. We loved the whole area, the village is probably the nicest we saw in our 4 week stay in Peru and there was lots for us to see and do. This is a beautiful place to stay in the Sacred Valley!

The WI-FI wasn't great but it was OK and we were able to manage. Vanessa Is aware of this but I think it's no show stopper and it's sometimes just nice to be away from the usual modern stuff. The room probably could have been furnished a bit more as it looked a little sparse.

Clean, modern, calm and simply beautiful - this all mixed with huge hospitality from the host, who can help with every thing, from buying tickets to sites, to getting you into the city center or train to Machu Picchu. Oh, I forgot to mention delicious breakfast!

Vanesa and Victor were very accommodating and welcoming, offering rides into town whenever I needed. I got a free room upgrade on arriving, and the breakfast provided was exceptional. Tucked into the valley just outside of town, the view from the property is fantastic. It's a quiet and beautiful place to stay near Ollantaytambo. The room was comfortable, large, and also provided a great view. I very much enjoyed staying here and meeting the family.

Beautiful property, Vanessa was very responsive with communication and helpful with drop off and pick ups. She made an awesome breakfast for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Casafranca is a place in the middle of nowhere, at least for us, surrounded by huge mountains and corn fields. Very quiet place especially at night. It is quite new, and it is located almost 2km away from Ollantaytambo square. Good thing our host Vanessa was too kind to drive us back and fort Casafranca, but you can easily ask a tuktuk driver to drive you back to the house for 5 soles. She even took us to the minivan when we were leaving the place. She helped us as well to make the most of our stay in Ollantaytambo by providing taxi and ideas where to go. With her by your side, you can never go wrong with the price. The place was clean and well maintained by Vanessa. Everyday she will clean it. Our room was quite big, very spacious. We got the whole place on ourselves for one whole week! The breakfast was superb--fresh juices, jams, cheese, fresh fruits, and fresh mais bread!! Vanessa even accommodated our request for cooking the mais blanco that we bought from the mercado. She even let us wash our clothes in her home, which was super nice of her. We even met her sweet son and her good friend who brought us to the nearby ruins near the city square. All in all it was a great stay with a great and friendly host. :)

The internet is weak when you're in your room, but sometimes when it is late at night, it works well. You just have to be in the common area for you to be able to use the wifi. There is no kitchen in the house, but you can ask Vanessa if you want something to cook etc.
