Hampton Inn Salina

It was clean and location was good.

The room smelled really bad. We had to ask the front desk for a can of air freshener. The shower curtain didn’t reach the floor so water went all over bathroom floor. Lighting in the room was not good. Water pressure in shower was not good. Overall a bad experience.

Very nice and clean. In A convenient location. Would recommend.

Bed was very comfortable, staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the pool! Everything was clean. Breakfast was above average good!

Our only disappointment was Sunday breakfast. We went down shortly before 9. The food was very scarce at that point, and it took quite a bit of time for refills. And at that, the quantity was not enough for the guests present and was quickly consumed, leaving one in my party without options. He went out for breakfast. It seemed as though the staff was unprepared for the number of guests that morning. I don't want to disparage the staff, just perhaps the planning.

The location was great. Close to the city's mall and plenty of restaurants. The property is just by the highway, which was perfect for us to stop by and continue our drive back to Canada without having to navigate the city. The room we stayed in was spotless, the beddings and towels were super clean and there was an amazing supply of toiletries. It was also nice that we were able to sign up to our Netflix account on the room's TV

It was perfectly located for our drive to the Colorado mountains

I’ve always chosen Hampton Inn over other properties because the beds are reliably comfortable. The beds at the Salina Hampton Inn were not comfortable and none of us had a good night sleep. It’s the first time in 20 years. I’ve been disappointed by a Hampton Inn bed. It’s almost like the mattresses are old.
