The front desk staff person was friendly. The room was clean and very dated. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It made a loud noise when you sat down on it. There are not many hotel options in John Day. I might try one of the other ones.

Room worked for a quick overnight. Clean enough but very dated and somewhat noisy. No breakfast or morning coffee in the lobby. Close dnough to places to eat.
