Hyatt Regency Valencia

Location and staff!

Beds were not too comfy and the bedding was rough. I also was disappointed that the mattresses were not in mattress covers to protect against bugs

I felt the breakfast buffet was a little pricey.

This Hyatt is perfect for us. With it's pleasant helpful staff and casual classy vibe. Parking is easy, the bar with great TV for viewing games, and quiet rooms. This has become our go-to property to stay at in Valencia.

I chose this property expecting a standard of reliability and hospitality, but unfortunately, this stay was a series of disappointments that made it impossible to both work and rest. The Connectivity Issues: The in-room WiFi was non-functional for the duration of my stay. Despite multiple attempts to log in and the front desk eventually providing access to an "alternative" network, the connection remained unusable. As there is no business center on-site, I attempted to work at a table in the common area, but the staff made me feel quite unwelcome for utilizing the space without ordering a meal. The Midnight Disruption: To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off at midnight and continued for a full 30 minutes. This was a major disruption to my sleep, and the duration of the alarm suggested a significant lack of urgency in management’s response to the fault. The Lack of Service Recovery: What was most disappointing was the total lack of proactive service recovery. Despite the persistent technical issues and the major sleep interruption, no acknowledgement or compensation was offered by the staff at checkout. Between the inability to stay productive during the day and the loss of a night's sleep, I cannot recommend this property for those traveling on business. There are better options in the area that value guest comfort and professional needs. I did receive a very nice upgrade, but wasn't really able to enjoy it due to the previously mentioned issues.

I love the location of this hotel. I can walk to stores, cafes, restaurants yet it is very quiet and pleasant. Love the pool, the rooms, very nice staff. I have been going to this hotel for the pasts 10 years. Just love it. The best in Santa Clarita.
