Hanger Down House Bed and Breakfast

Very pretty and quiet country stay within walking distance of Arundel and Gaugemaster Ford. Easy access to rooms and friendly owners.

The upstairs rooms have sloping ceiling and two steps into bathroom however not a problem if you take care.

Wonder peaceful stop for the night. Our host was extremely friendly and accommodating as my mother has a visual deficit. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

They were building a new entrance, which made a rather sloppy first impression. But behind the front door all was well!

Lovely spot to base ourselves while exploring Arundel (and to ask a very important question of my Partner while there). The owners were friendly and breakfasts were superb. The room was spacious, clean and warm while the garden is a restful setting to enjoy a drink. Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a base to explore the area.

The property was in the midst of being built. No completed porch while you searched for key so you get wet. An overflowing skip before the building that dictated parking had to be elsewhere. Skip was taken only on morning when we left. Large puddles before the front door on owners' property. Shower battered you black and blue with forced power. Bed rumpled. Duvet lumpy. Road outside, though linking to good large gastro pub, was very badly pitted and potentially there to damage your car.

Very tidy and clean. Own entrance. Quiet rural area but very close to town. Great facilities and lovely big garden to sit in.
