ON' MICHELE GUEST HOUSE

It was a very modern, comfortable and quiet location. Michele and his staff were excellent hosts and very helpful with requests and information. We do appreciated being collected from the ferry with our luggage and taken back to the bus station. Breakfast was extremely tasty with lots of choices and attentive staff.

We liked everything.

Michele is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast had some delicious homemade cakes and jams made with local lemons and other produce. The room was comfortable and modern and the balcony has fantastic views of Sorrento and the sea.

Nothing but note that the property is located on a hill, 20-30 mins walk from the town. As such if you have mobility issues, it would be sensible to drive down or use taxis.

The property is situated on a hill, 30 min walking through the centre, on a road full of lemon trees, beautiful , which reveals nature and authentic Italian life. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, Michele even picked us up from the centre, and took us with his car. The breakfast we ate was delicious, like a 5 stars hotel, plenty of homemade sweets, fruits, coffee, orange fresh juice, cheese, bruschetta, etc. Inside, in the room everything was clean, sheets like paper, comfortable and quiet. In the morning, the only sound was the song of the birds

Very clean. Comfortable beds and spacious common areas. Breakfast spread was wonderful and the homemade jams were absolutely delicious.

Everything was great.

The breakfast was excellent as there was a very wide range of choices for everything. Great location as the house is 5 minutes from the centre of Sorrento by car. Our bedroom had a huge balcony looking out onto Sorrento. We could park on the main road easily. Michele and his family are great hosts and they did everything they could to make our stay a huge success.

Everything was perfect.

Spacious room, funky showers with the lighting! Best part of the stay was waking up and being greeted by friendly staff who provided a beautiful breakfast. Got washing done and hired towels for the beach.

Location is out of the way! Definitely need a good fitness level if your not planning on hiring a scooter. Taxis super expensive

The room was the best we stayed in in Europe, it was newly renovated with air conditioning and a sitting room, bedroom, balcony and bathroom, 2 tvs and mini fridge if we needed. Ample wall sockets as well. Michele was amazing and the breakfast was to die for, most of it home made by his mum :) we left very early on our last morning and he still brought us some food the night before which was really lovely. The house is outside of the main city of Sorrento with a bit of a walk up a hill, which was fine for us and Michele organises pick up for you so we didn’t need to carry our bags up the hill. but something to consider during your stay if you have mobility issues is that the bus would be better if you can’t walk up and down a steep hill. Overall it was absolutely fantastic and he was an amazing host 😊

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

The property was clean and quiet. They serve breakfast every morning with assortment of bread, juices, cheese, etc. they also clean the room everyday. They brought breakfast the night before if we had to leave before the breakfast hour. The host also picked us up and dropped us off from the train/bus station. It’s family owned and they are so very nice.

Only thing about the property that we didn’t like was that it is about 25 min walk from the center town and it’s on top of a steep hill. There is a local bus but it doesn’t come very often.

If you want to visit Amalfi Coast, it is the best place. You can rent a scooter and the location is so convenient. Michelle is super nice and helpful and you feel really at home. They have an amazing breakfast with all homemade pastries and jams. I promise you will enjoy your stay at this calm and peaceful location. Rooms are really clean. Everything is new and they clean the house every morning. Michelle helped us a-lot for everything. He also have a pick up and drop off services which is really good.
