Everything was super nice. The location is perfect. You can easily go to the Appartment inbetween a surfing session. The staff was super friendly an nice. Gladly again. :)

The dogs are barking throughout almost the whole night. That's keeping you awake.

Just about everything! I've never felt more welcomed or taken care of while traveling than when I stayed here (Thanks Emy!). I initially booked 2 nights, but ended up staying for 6 because it was such a special city and home. Emy is a very skilled cook, making some of the most impressive Moroccan dishes I have tried while traveling across the country. If you don't plan to eat there, just know that you'll be craving food around 8pm when you start smelling the heavenly scent coming from the kitchen upstairs. The terrace on top of the building is one of the best I've experienced after staying in over 100 hostels. You can even see the surf at Cathedral from there!

The Soul Lodge is located on the North end of town, a 10 min walk to the surf rental shops. This is of course a very short distance, but sometimes when I slept in or was running late, I wished I was even closer to the shops so I could hop right into the waves. On the other hand, the bus stop was just a block away, which was nice.

Host Emy is so so welcoming , and her cooking smells legendary! My only regret is that I arrived after hours and moving town everyday so unfortunately I didn't get to try it. But she still welcomed my daughter and I with fresh fruit and veg and bread.

The staff were very kind and the overall experience was wonderful Many thanks to the owner, such a kind lady who made us feel welcome
