El hotel muy lindo y cómodo, el servicio brindado por el personal estuvo excelente con una grandisima atención y disponibilidad en todo momento, sin duda muy recomendable!!

Todo el personal es muy amable. Se esmeran porque tú estancia sea placentera. El desayuno súper rico.

Mocca Hotel is lovely place to set up home base on a visit to Tepoztlan. The hotel is on a quiet side street, with limited traffic and a relatively short, flat 10-minute walk into town. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, and ours featured a king-sized bed and deck overlooking the garden. Our visit was midweek, and only one other room was occupied, so things were particularly quiet. The hot tub and fire pit were both inactive, and strong rains kept us largely indoors at night. That said, the garden and grounds are lovely, giving the hotel a private, exclusive feel. Food is good, and breakfast was satisfactory, if not exceptional. Because of the aforementioned rains, we dined at Mocca one night, and the restaurant offered limited options, such as hamburgers, salads and sandwiches. Rates are competitive, and the staff are extremely friendly. We were pleased with the overall value of Mocca, and would recommend it without hesitation.

This place couldn't get any better. Friendly staff, your choice of artisanal soaps and lotions for your stay, free drink upon arrival, delicious breakfast, within walking distance of everything. They even have a telescope in case you wanna gaze at the stars, they pay that much attention to details. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying a glass of wine is simply delightful.

Mocca Hotel is a wonder place to slow down, and relax. The entire place is so well thought out. The beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. The grounds are beautiful. The resort is within walking distance to the city square of Tepoztlan, and to the trailhead of the pyramid. The owner Rocco, is awesome and does all he can to insure that you enjoy a pleasant stay. The staff is equally wonderful. Just a heads up, Mocca Hotel advertises itself as being an adults only resort. However, when we were there we did see some children there. It wasn't a bother to us. But it may be to some people. We can't wait to return to Mocca Hotel and Tepoztlan! Thanks Mocca Hotel, for the top notch service!

I was in town for a friends wedding and needed an easy, clean, and charming place to stay with my fiance. Rocco, the owner, was always easily reachable (by phone or whatapp) and pretty much always on site. He welcomed us with a drink when we got there, and gave us a personal tour of the room and amenities. He even offered to lay out some rose petals to help me welcome my lady! The room itself was super charming with a balcony, artisanal soaps, and super soft and clean bedsheets -- though it should be noted that it had an open concept shower, for those who may not be a fan of that. The bed itself was otherwise super comfortable. The hotel also included breakfast, and on one of my two days it was more substantive where they cooked up some chilaquiles. They also helped us arrange a couples massage on site which was lovely and a great deal to boot! The city center is a short 5-10 minute walk away otherwise and the hotel is easily reachable by taxi as well (about 35 pesos to get to and from there). Highly, highly recommended to anyone staying in Tepoztlan, especially if you're traveling with a significant other!!

We stayed here Monday 29th January 2018 when the worst storm for 15 ys hit. Hot tub did not heat so could not use. Several power cuts in evening so TV kept resetting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms spotlessly clean. Arrived at 8.30 for breakfast but muesli and yogurt appeared when we had eaten.

Me and my girlfriend were in Mexico City and we decided to visit Tepoztlán and we found this amazing hotel with a very cute crew. This place is highly recommended. Rooms are clean and good equipped. We enjoy!

This place is so charming, relaxing and clean. It was even prettier than it looked in the pictures. It's quiet and has beautiful views from the upper floors and roof. It feels miles away from the busy main streets, but it's really only a few blocks. We came here after spending 2 nights at the hotel that is ranked #3 for "best value" on here - which was more expensive, less clean, less comfortable and had medicocre service. What a thrill it was to discover that Mocca was so much better - just wish we had stayed there the whole time. The owner and staff were so warm and helpful - they even helped my boyfriend plan a day trip that was totally off the beaten path (even finding a taxi driver willing to take us and negotating the price down).

As we took a look at all these pictures and also the ratings of the other visitors we thought that this was going to be a great deal. The reception was nice, but slow. At first sight the hotel looked like slammed into the left space. One building next to the other, and also some buildings right next to the hotel, so you really had no privacy. And some barking dogs in the surroundings - also at night - which disturbed the precious silence. The rooms were nicely designed, had some comfort to offer. The bathroom, open to the room was not a good idea, because the vapors could get into the room, and there was mold on the night-curtains. A small balcony invited to stay outside. Breakfast was somewhat typical Mexican. Only one choice, and this was not so good. Also we could only have breakfast at 9, though we actually wanted to continue our trip earlier. The cleanliness was OK in the rooms, but outside they had lot's of leaves and other things around. Also some spiders were left alive.
