Friendly staff

Numerous cockroaches emerged in my room and made their way into my bags, prompting me to thoroughly empty and clean everything. Although the hotel relocated me to a room (lacking a TV….) and offered complimentary breakfast the next day as compensation, the experience left a lasting trauma. Additionally, small bugs infested the blanket and bed, emitting an unbearable odor. Despite the seemingly new blanket cover, the inside appeared old and yellowish with a strong smell. Even the pillow emitted a foul odor. Mold was also present on the bedroom wall near the bed, close to the shower, and I was able to clean it myself. All three hotel rooms used by our group had the same unpleasant odor and mold issue. The hotel's location was highly inconvenient, lacking access to online transportation service like Grab/ Gojeck or reliable shuttle services. Furthermore, the absence of an on-site restaurant and limited nearby dining options, coupled with unreliable food delivery services like Grab or Gojek, made obtaining food very challenging. We all really wanted time to pass fast so we move to the next hotel. However, despite the issues, we didn't lodge a strong complaint due to the affordability of the hotel and the friendly staff who tried to assist us. However, had I known about the cockroach infestation and odor beforehand, I wouldn't have chosen this hotel regardless of the low price. So shame that i did not take any photos of all the bugs/ cockroaches/ mold and the blanket to share here…

The bed is very comfy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the location. Will definitely return to stay here.

Breakfast is a set menu, standard taste but enough to fill up for the morning so this is not a complaint.

Lovely big room with a huge comfortable bed. Extremely friendly staff who aim to please. Arissa (sorry if incorrect spelling) was extremely friendly and welcoming on check in and Eddy never fails to smile and brighten your day - his sheer joy is infectious. Pool towels provided and a lovely cafe Mango next door plus a Warung down the road a couple of minutes walk so all budgets are covered. The hotel offers a free shuttle of a taxi into Ubud, you get your own return but as it drops you off where you wish it’s a fantastic perk given the really low cost of the accommodation. No in room safe.

A bit far out of Ubud when the traffic is horrendous but then peaceful at night so it’s a personal choice. Could do with updating the bedding and towels .
