Résidence Odalys La Bastide des Chênes

Very nice property, close to Gordes. Pool was very good refreshment after exoloring the destination. Staff very nice and friendly. Fresh bread and croisants in the morning.

Unfortunately the property is not well maintained. Looked like nobody stayed in the app for a while before us. The terrace was not cleaned, meanwhile app was clean. We've got clean sheets and towels on the table and you need to make the bed on your own. Bed blankets quite heavy and unfortable. Thorn umbrella on the terrace. Sunbeds by the pool need cleaning as well. On departure you need to clean the kitchen, not sure if I missed that somewhere on booking.com, but was a suprise. We haven't cooked much however. Price quite high for the app quality. We've stayed at many places while traveling around Provence and this was the worst and most expensive. It's a pitty since the property is really superb at great peaceful location.

Pretty setting

We have difficulty walking. Parking was too from room. Too many steps and long walk up or downhill to get to room and parking. Walkway not lit up at night. Had to make bed on arrival. Hair dryer not available. The place was clean but definitely no frills.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön, vor allem sehr ruhig (wir waren im Juni) hier. Allerdings ist Anlange auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Standard der Appartements ist sauber, gepflegt aber einfach. Wir hatten ein App. zu zweit für 4-6 Personen, allerdings mit zwei Kindern wird es sehr eng. Das Kinderzimmer sind extrem klein und hat KEIN Fenster. Wir haben es nur als Abstellraum benutzt. Sehr angenehm war der tägliche Baguette und Croissant Service an der Rezeption. Ansonsten wird aber kein Service angeboten. Wenn man keine zu hohen Ansprüche an die Ausstattung hat, dann können wir die Anlage absolut empfehlen, allerdings können die Bilder und die sehr guten Bewertungen zu einem falschen Bild führen. Achtung: Es gibt hier (wie auch beschrieben) KEIN WLAN Internet und nur mäßige Netzabdeckung. In der heutigen Zeit für uns nicht nachvollziehbar, aber vielleicht ändert dies sich ja bald.

Swimming pool even if a bit cold

The location is tranquil and heated pool great. Accommodation is spacious.

Very remote, no quick access for self catering shopping apart from Gordes itself. Not the cleanest apartment ever. Hand held showers are a personal dislike. Others may find ok. Putting on your own sheets and lining in bins, stripping bed etc. a minor irritation fir a two night stay.

Cadre très joli accueil sympathique. Isole au milieu de la nature Le logement est spacieux, calme . Parking ombragée et fermé A noter qu'en dehors des serviettes rien n'est fourni. Il faut penser a prendre éponge, produit vaisselle, sèche-cheveux, torchons, sel poivre huile .... Par contre équipement vaisselle complet. Vous devrez également faire votre lit les draps sont fournis. Belle piscine mais le climat ne nous a pas permis d'en profiter.

Amazing complex with perfect location, wonderful nature and very comfortable swimming pool. The architecture is marvelous and the connection with nature is very nice. I visit the complex with my family and we had a great time in gorgeous Provence. The nearby town of Gordes is magnificent. I highly recommend Résidence Prestige Odalys La Bastide des Chênes.

No wifi internet

Large appartments. Location close to Gordes. Very nice location.

Not very clean. Sheets and blankets not very suitable for Odalys « prestige ».

I did not stay there. Could not find the place on the first day. On the second day when I finally managed to reach it there was nobody in attendance. When there twice. No luck. Nobody answered the telephone. Then they still charged me in full. Audacity in the extreme.
