It was relatively quiet and the room was clean

The mattresses could have been better and there was some wear and tear showing

Room was disappointing. To small and no desk or chair. Bathroom remodeled but no place for bath items. Needs some kind of shelf cabinet etc. For the price I would rate it a D.

Renovations well done retrofitted into existing motel.

Making a silk purse out of sows ear. Infrastructure from motel could not be retrofitted. Noisy footsteps from second floor. Porn tv through the room next door. Noisy people outside grilling, on phone, talking. Not enough blankets.

The staff was extra nice and helpful. She was able to help us find a room in another hotel.

Room was in the 2nd floor. My wife is handicapped and unable to do any stairs. The hotel could not refund our money since it was through booking.com

This was our second stay there. The first time wasn’t great because of the noise but this time was much better. I think everywhere we stay deserves a second chance. I’m glad we stayed a second time.

The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The TV is very large. But large tv’s are what men like. We where thankful for the friendly service from the front desk to the housekeeper staff

Walls were so thin we could hear every conversation from the neighbors. The family above us kept us awake all night long from arguing and sounded like kids running all night.

The room was attractive and recently renovated. Amenities were fine.

There was no light blocking shade so the light from outdoor lighting was very bright for the entire night. The plumbing under the sink was not connected and water poured from the sink onto the floor. I could hear movement from the room overhead. Not sure how they managed to get an occupancy permit for the room.

The renovations to the rooms were modern and very clean and beds were very comfortable. The price was affordable and I will likely return on my next visit to Elkins.
