Great breakfast, nice lobby

Fridge was noisy along with the air system.

The front desk staff immediately helped us to change rooms when we came back right away after going to our room. We let her know of the rank smell in the room and she provided us with another room and was very helpful and friendly and apologetic.

When we first entered the first room we were given there was a horrific smell in the room which we believe to be a strong smell of urine. We're not sure how housekeeping could have cleaned the room and not have smelled that odor. There was no way we could have stayed in that room for the entire evening with the smell as bad as it was - you could even smell it at the door when you first opened it - it was bad. In the second room the toilet paper and the kleenex box were both nearly empty when we arrived and were definitely empty by that evening. We didn't see another box to replace the tissues with but we did replaced the toilet paper roll.

Room was decent and the stay was almost as good as I hoped and the structure is good.

So the remote was almost worthless. The light switch key is completely retarded and clearly self serving and doesn’t nothing for the customer, and ceiling lights are very dim and one was out. And at check out the desk girl could care less. Almost like I was bothering her, and she did not careless when I told her the TV remote was broke, which is exactly why it is still a problem. Place has all the potential but has a people problem.

Thought I had a room and went to check in and was told that was book.

We have stayed at this Microtel Inn for years! The facility only continues to improve in their service and facility upgrades. We look forward to breakfast; designated area is clean, and food provided is fresh. The rooms have NO odor, the mattresses are comfortable, linen is new and without stain. Maid service honored our request when we requested clean towels and the bed changed. The staff went above and beyond when we requested an extra chair to allow both of us to use our lap tops. We concluded our family obligations early; the motel was very understanding. Wonderful folks!!!!!!
