The location was excellent - close to the Melbourne Museum, Queen Victoria Market etc. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. Given the price we paid which included breakfast it was amazing value for money.

We had another amazing stay at the Grand Chancellor. From the moment we arrived, reception was warm and welcoming, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of choices, with something for everyone, and was a fantastic way to start the day. This is one of our favourite places to stay, and we always enjoy coming back. Comfortable accommodation, excellent service, and a wonderful experience every time. Highly recommended! 😊

What I didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel or staff. Unfortunately, I witnessed some guests being rude and treating the staff as though they were servants. The staff remained professional, courteous, and helpful despite this behaviour, which only made me appreciate them even more. The team at the Grand Chancellor should be commended for the excellent service they provide. ❤️
