Bird of Paradise Hotel

Very nice place right on the main strip in Jaco. It’s on the quieter side which was a plus (no nightclub right next door but plenty 2-3 min walking). Pool was nice and they even had cornhole and two levels of dining area. Roger provided the hands down best service we’ve ever gotten while traveling. If there was anything off, he would immediately take care of it. Wish the bar was more operational and there was music playing by the pool, but those are pretty minor things. Beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great. Would recommend Bird of Paradise

Boutique hotel and nice owners

located very close to beach. 3 minute walk to beach. they had a bar but really was not open and they didn't have anything to order expect bear which was limited too. I did not find the staff too friendly. at check out, i felt i was treated like a crook as they had someone check to make sure we did not take any towels or anything else. i will not recommend this place or stay here again.

We loved staying there. Walking distance to the center of Jaco. The room and the bathroom were clean and in great conditions. They have a good pool. It has been the cleanest we have seen in our trip. I would recommend staying there if you want to stay in Jaco for a couple of days.

Good location. Located on the main strip about a block from the beach. Very basic hotel but is clean and staff is friendly. I was expecting VIP benefits that come with VIP Access but I was told my room was bigger which it looked just like a regular room and I received a bike rental for free. It didn’t feel like an upgrade.

This property was beautiful , great friendly staff, the mural on the wall was some amazing talent. Met the owners and they have worked hard to improve the property. I would highly recommend this property to stay at 5 STAR !

This was the perfect option for us as best friends travelling to Jaco. From booking, to check in, to check out…we were very well looked after. Communication was excellent when arranging transportation or enquiring about the local area. The hotel felt like our own personal oasis, many times having the pool or our back patio all to ourselves. Even the other travellers we met there were super friendly and happy to be there too. I can’t say enough about the hard working staff, always smiling and eager to help. Daniel from the reception was an instant friend, with a warm and welcoming smile after a long day of travelling. The wonderful owners were on site for a part of our visit, and we had a blast talking and learning about their experiences too. Salt of the earth people that really care and appreciate your time spent there. Yes that’s you guys Paula, Tina and Chuck. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to come back to Bird of Paradise.
