Extended Stay America Suites - Sacramento - Roseville

Steven was a great help! I was having trouble with my payment because there was unauthorized charges on my card. He helped me figure it out and get my refund and help with my stay. He should definitely be a manager. I was surprised when he said he wasn’t.

I stayed at Extended Stay America in Roseville, California for approximately one week and checked out on January 10, 2026. After checkout, I contacted the hotel regarding a sentimental keepsake that had been left behind in my room. When I first called, I was told the item had not been found. I requested a thorough secondary search, including housekeeping and laundry areas, and was assured the property manager would return my call. That call never came. I escalated the matter to Corporate Customer Relations and was informed that management would follow up within five business days. No one did. The case was then escalated to district management with a 48-hour response commitment. Again, there was no response. This was not a routine lost item. It was a keepsake of deep personal significance. What makes this experience unacceptable is not only the loss itself, but the repeated promises of follow-up that were simply ignored. At every level, I was told someone would contact me — and at every level, no one did. During my stay, I also experienced issues with the air conditioning in the room, which added to an already frustrating experience. The pattern of non-responsiveness reflects a serious failure in the handling of guest property and a disregard for the responsibility owed to guests when their personal belongings are involved.

0 out of 5 stars!!! First the lady working the night shift said we couldn’t check in because every night there system does an audit and was down. She said it would take 1-4 hours no apologies. And if this is the case when booking it should be in the description not to check in after 11 pm. We had no where to go no car because we took an Uber. We arrived just around midnight. The second we went outside my card was charged not just the night but also my deposit. When we tried booking somewhere else I couldn’t because my bank flagged as suspicious use for two rooms at two different hotels. Worst customer service ever
