"Brash but beautiful hotel just outside of Boston tourist area."

This was a conference visit. Hotel is big, pristine, and well organized. The rooms are large and Alexa controlled. Everything worked well. The pool is only for spa guests. The general decor is very brash casino style. We were able to use the seasonal ferries to Long Wharf which was great. Taxi to downtown was around 15 mins and $30. The only shuttle bus at present is to Chinatown which is a little far from the main tourist area.

Annoying they knock on your door at 9am for a "room check" but then knock again right at 11:00 for checkout. A little pushy for a 5 star hotel
