The checkin was friendly.

Hotel is old and not clean. Old is ok but not clean is unexceptionable. We book over 100+ hotel nights a year for our colleagues. Never had problems but this time they refuse to stay the second night in the hotel. We kindly asked to refund the second night without complain or bad review but owner didn’t want to give any money back. We had unfortunately no other choice than book another hotel and write off the costs we pay for this hotel. Very customer unfriendly. Sure owner will replay to this message that hotel was fine etc etc but we disagree and we do not understand why we couldn’t cancel the future night as this simply didn’t meet anything from our expectations which were simple: a clean hotel with breakfast

The breakfast was good with a nice selection. Staff was very friendly and dining room was very clean.

Bathroom needs updating, landscaping needs attention.

The room is very small. There is no telephone in the room to contact the reception. There are no facilities to make a tea or coffee.
